I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you a bit about myself. I've always liked drawing, and anime. Those are two things I've liked for a long time. I would always watch anime as a kid and I'm still doing it now. There wasn't a day where I wouldn't think about how cool anime was. I gave up on drawing for a long time after finding out I that it was too much work to learn how to draw them. After a couple of years I came across a website called deviantART, in there, I saw so many amazing anime drawings. I was overwhelmed to say the least, to see all of these talented artists posting their art online for the world to watch. I became obsessed, and the inspiration that all of the artists of deviantART gave me made me want to draw anime again. I'll be honest, the first drawings I did were... sh** to say the least. I was 100% set on learning how that no matter how long it took, I would still try to learn it. I taught myself everything I know about how to draw anime thanks to the power of the all-mighty "INTERNET". I took me 10 minutes to know it how to do it, and 3 months of practice perfected it. Soon after the 3 months, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and used the Sketchbook pro app to do all of my drawings. I also use the my Note 3 for most of my sketches and then transfer them to my tablet. If you want an example of a self taught artist, well look no further. I went from barely drawing a stick figure to actual anime drawings. This is just about the best hobby I could ever ask for. To finish up, in the rare case that someone actually reads this and really likes anime, and is thinking about learning how to draw, wants to prefect it, wants tips, or is about to give up because he/she isn't getting it right...let me be the one to tell you that the best place for all of that is the internet. All you need is passion, patience, persistence, and some other words that start with p. Remember, nobody can make you an artist, they can only show you the way...you are the one who makes you an artist.
